This Page is to meant to pay tribute to all of the police officers, firefighters, paramedics and military personnel that put their lives on the line for us and have since passed away. Please, we encourage you to post a picture of your passed loved ones that were once in the emergency services and post a brief memorial to them.
And to start things off, we would like to pay tribute to our founder Robert J. Fisher. Bob was a veteran of the Second World War with the Royal Air Force stationed in Aiden. When Bob immigrated to Canada with his wife Pat he went to work for one of Fisher’s Regalia’s current competitors. Then Bob moved on to another one of our competitors based in Toronto. In 1975 Bob decided to start Fisher’s Regalia & Uniform, the first location was in Richmond Hill where it stayed until his daughter Yvonne purchased the company and moved it to Barrie (it’s current location) in 1998. Bob is survived by his wife Pat and daughters Yvonne (Mark), Jillian (Jeff) and his 5 grandchildren.
