Fisher's Regalia Blog

Hello, my name is Yvonne Fisher-Tulloch and I’m the President of Fisher’s Regalia.

My formal training included completed college courses in Business Administration and Secretarial. In 1986 I began a career in retail at Simpson’s (eventually becoming The Bay).  Staff cutbacks in 1997 led to the personal supervision of 5 different departments at the store and unfortunately that took it’s toll.  I resigned from The Bay in 1998 and purchased Fisher’s Regalia from my father and our founder Robert J. Fisher.

Immediately memories of my youth travelling the roads with my father in an attempt to grow the business came flooding back and I was incredibly excited about the future.  We were able to rebrand the company, introduce a new catalogue, increase our convention attendance and draft the look of the new website all before my father passed away in 2005.  He was very pleased that the next generation was taking over and he would be even more excited that his grandson has recently joined us here at Fisher’s.  Even two of his grand daughters help out on a part time basis as well.

With a lot of family businesses not surviving the second generation we’re excited not only to pass that hurdle but to take it to the next level with the third generation.
